Greetings from Vermont!
From our last batch of chaga tincture brewing we have 15 bottles left for sale.
If you are new to chaga please visit our chaga page where the herb itself, as well as our harvest methods is described in detail. Chaga page
For those of you familiar with chaga and would like to try the tincture form as opposed to the tea, our last batch was completed and bottled on Friday the 20th of March 2015. The chaga was harvested, dried, powdered and soaked in 100 proof vodka for 2 months. Then for the double extraction it was removed from the single extract tincture and extracted in water twice. After which it was left for 24 hours and extracted for a third time in water. This triple extraction (some call it double) helps extract and provide the maximum constitutes from the wild harvested chaga. Water only extracts a certain amount of the medicinal compounds and alcohol extracts others, so the extract with both water and alcohol are necessary to draw out the fullest amount of medicines.
Whereas most people who take tinctures orally place the tincture drops under the tongue, with chaga tinctures you can swish it around in your mouth before swallowing to not only allow it to quickly enter your bloodstream, but also take advantage of its antiviral, antifungal, anti-candida, antibacterial and antimicrobial actions on the gums and teeth.
The suggested dose for our chaga tinctures is about 20 drops 1-3 times per day.
Please remember that when consuming chaga in any form to avoid taking penicillin or intravenous injections of glucose because they interfere with the chaga compounds.
